I am a research technician in the Moreno Lab and will be a Ph.D. student at UCF starting in the Fall of 2023. Originally from Puerto Rico, I transferred to UCF where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology and a minor in Statistics. My areas of interest in research are infectious diseases and pathogenesis. Throughout my college career I discovered a love for teaching. I currently also teach General Microbiology and Pathogenic Microbiology labs to undergraduate students on UCF’s main campus.
In my free time I love to listen to audiobooks, bake yummy treats, take care of my plants, and sleep.
