My name is Trudy-Ann Grant and I am from Jamaica. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry from Florida International University and my Master of Health Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
I am a Ph.D. student interested in therapeutic treatments against bacterial disease. Specifically, I study the emergence and evolution of resistance against antimicrobial compounds in the Vibrionaceae and the evolution of their pathogenicity factors.
While I do enjoy increasing my scientific knowledge, my other hobbies include spending time with family, cooking, and drawing. My career aspiration is to become a key member on a drug discover team.
