I am a MS in Biotechnology student fascinated with how bacteria are able to adapt and thrive in various environments including symbiotic niches. I got my BA in Physics from the University of Florida. After getting my degree, I continued working in Dr. Stephen Hagen’s biophysics lab. There I conducted research on how Vibrio fischeri can communicate long distances in unmixed environments using their quorum sensing networks. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and going on nature trails, playing tennis, gardening, and reading.
