Cole Crist

I am a Research Technician in the Moreno Lab investigating the evolution of porin proteins in Vibrio cholerae and how these naturally accrued adaptations may lead to pathogen emergence. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Rollins College in 2023, and I plan to attend medical school in the fall of 2024. During my undergraduate studies, I assisted in multiple research projects involving the organic synthesis of several antibacterial natural products.

In my free time, I love Olympic weightlifting, reading novels, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family!
